Thank you, oh wonderful sensor….for alarming at 2 in the morning and waking me up to tell me that my blood sugar was going low! It said i was 86, but when i tested, i was 46!!
I turned my pump down for a temporary basal of 0.1 over 1 hour, and drank a littel bottle of orange juice to get my numbers up, and then tried to fall back asleep, feeling really shaky and low.
Then at 5:44 in the morning, i had set my phone alarm to wake up at 6:00, and make sure my numbers were okay‚ they were high….my blood sugar was 273! i guess all the juice caught up! I bolused 2.1 and woke up again at 8:20, and i was 132! yessss!!!!
But the rest of day was not so good‚ at 10:30 i was 201 and had breakfast and bolused plenty for the food i had eaten, but at 12:30, during church, my sensor was alarming and telling me my blood sugars were “ABOVE 400” and i tested‚ and I was 447!!!!!! And felt awfully thirsty.
4 bottles of water and 3 hours later!
i came down to 125 and then had to eat something.
14 tests and finger pokes.
