Keeping my blood sugars in mind, today was a not so good diabetic day.
When I woke up early enough to get ready for my class, 6:29, my blood sugar was 165 mg/dl. That was alright, I bolused before I ate and I thought I’d be okay.
Class started and 8:30 and after 25 minutes of taking notes, my hand writing went from neat to a big sloppy mess of words. I don’t even know if i can read them now. Thinking this was unusual, I tested and my number was 56! I turned my pump down to 0.1 over an hour and drank some juice, and told my sister, Jackie. She made sure I drank enough juice.
By 9:30am, I was coming up to 81, then 93.
Class was out so we got a snack.
An hour later, I was 150. I still felt low though.
The rest of the day was full of testing my blood sugar making sure it was okay. I’m glad I didn’t have to drive home, Jackie.
