So, this is a pretty random post about my day today‚..my crazy blood sugars and phone calls, and day at school. :]
2am alarm clock (I don’t even remebering even shutting it off) But I tested my blood sugar just to make sure I was okay, since i was 472 mg/dl before going to sleep a little before 11:00 last night. I was 251 mg/dl. I bolused 2 units. (I remember doing that!)
6:15am comes along‚ Blood sugar of 97 mg/dl (yesss!!) We had an early rise this morning for our yoga class at 7:30am. The parking garage was busier than usual at that time of morning. hmm…
After yoga, i tested, and I was 203. That was alright. Atleast it’s not low.
We had quite the brisk walk to make it to the music building for our Music Theory class at 8:30. Trying to keep up with my note taking, I tested and I was 64 mg/dl! Are you kidding? 203 to 64. amazing. Yoga is cool. Especially for my diabetes. :] Anyway, theory class went well‚ I am now utterly confused with key signatures and becoming stressed about this quiz next week! OH no. I have so much studying to do and rehearsing.
After class, Jackie and I walked to the Student Union and stood in the long line at Starbucks waiting for our coffee. With a 3 hour break until our next class, Guitar, we walked to the bookstore, picked our a sweatshirt with UNLV on it, I bought a red one and Jackie bought the black one. We walked to the library. The fifth floor is amazing‚ it is so quiet up there! Homework. Ipod distracting me from the people whispering. Jackie had so much energy, I don’t know what it is, but she had this burst of excitement suddenly and you could just see the light bulbs going off while she was studying. Hehe. It was amusing.
We left the library about noon, and on our way the union, we saw our cousin Stephanie and that was really cool! We ate lunch and I decided to go back to the car and grab our guitars out of our car for class since Jackie was still slowly eating her bagel and yogurt. Jackie called me 7 times, of course, I couldn’t answer my cell phone walking down the stairs until i put the cases down and stopped! Haha. she finally walked to the music building, and we went to class.
Afterward, we met our mom at a store and I bought this really cool bag for school, there are so many compartments in it! :] hehe.
We went to the mailbox with Sarah’s present‚ and sent that off….Happy Almost Birthday Sarah!
After dinner, we were washing the dishes and my cell phone started ringing‚ it was Jaye! I talked to her for a while and that was great, I haven't talked to Jaye in a really long time. I miss you Jaye!!!
So right now, im drinking my chamomile tea, writing in my blog, listening to a song on my best friend’s myspace page, and just called Boyd, our really good friend who is a Rodeo Announcer. I love his ringtone! It’s always different too. Always puts a smile on our face! We left him a voicemail, and he texted us back and said, Love ya-miss ya! So that just pretty much made my day. :]
