A couple of weeks after returning home from Washington, D.C., and the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, I was contacted by someone, who wanted to interview me for Better Homes and Gardens‚“Diabetic Living Magazine.”The interview was to be about being a diabetic, Jackie and my volunteerism, mentoring newly diagnosed diabetics, and talking about my blog and how writing in it lets other diabetics, along with their families and friends, who read it, know that they are not the only ones dealing with the diabetic issues and dilemmas. Anyway, I forgot I did the interview and was recently reminded that the article was in the July 30th issue and I have been meaning to write it in my blog to let everyone know, so you can read it if you’d like. :] There are great recipes and a ton of articles well worth the read.
