CBR 2007
So this last Saturday at the Southpoint, we all went to the Championship Bull Riding (CBR) where 46 bull riders competed. It was sooo much fun, and guess who was announcing? Bob Tallman!! Then afterwords we all went for coffee and dessert‚ and talked. :] It was really cool.Guess what came in the mail this morning? my new Minimed Pump! Its so cute. :] i can’t wait to learn how to use it. It came with a tester too, but the poker is like huge! (compared to my last tester). but the bottle of strips is adorable, i wonder if the bottles are all that small. Then, on Sunday, for my Mom and Dad’s 25th Anniversary, we all went to the Venetian for dinner and saw Phantom of the Opera! It was AMAZING! Oh my gosh, i enjoyed it soo much, and jackie was sitting next to me, screaming (not loudly) when every song was being sung, it was hilarious. So we find the restaurant, walk upstairs, sit down, and all of a sudden, i felt really warm‚ thinking i was low, i tested, becuase it was before dinner, you know. And the meter reads 30‚ I was shocked. i didn’t even feel it. Mom ordered some cranberry juice, and after i drank it, i noticed my vision was blurry and nothing was making sense. Any question i was asked was followed by an “I don’t know,” which happened alot during that dinner. So my number only came up to 80, then 91, back to 73, 64, 131, 133, 124, 133, and it was 178 before i went to sleep‚ i never bolused for dinner! but by 2:15 in the morning, i was 407‚band very thirsty. ughhhh. glasses of water and insulin later, (9:30 in the morning, i was 122).
