So last night, we ate dinner much later than we normally we do.
I bolused for the (awesome) food we all ate last night, and 1 hour and 50 minutes after taking insulin, I tested so i could go to sleep‚ since it was 11:30‚ i was 61! I put my pump on temporary basal of 0.1 over 1 hour, and ate 8 Wheat Thins, and drank 1/2 cup of Apple Juice. I stayed up another hour, since there was a good movie to...
Diet Coke, Please?
So, Jackie and I went to the mall the other day and stopped to get some pizza. We each got a slice of cheese pizza and I ordered a Diet Coke and Jackie got a 7-Up. I saw the guy start to fill the glass with regular coke and then he asks again, “was that a diet or a regular?” I saw him, and i said, “diet, please” We sat down, and ate our pizza.

Late Spring Cleaning
So this weekend, my mom, sister and I pretty much organized the kitchen book shelf‚ along with what we’ve always called “The Diabetic Desk”
I used to write binders full of diabetic logs, and keep all my supplies, kleenex packs, lancets, strips, everything!

Why the Lows?
So lately, I’ll eat my breakfast and everything, and bolus. Of course.
But 3 hours later, my numbers are seriously low.
Like 43!
This is frustrating, because when i under bolus, my numbers are still really high.
This is ridiculous, i have no idea why this is happening, but insulin works wonders! Thats all I can say!
