A Thank You Note to… Mudd and Iconixbrand Group Inc.

March 17, 2008

Dear Mudd and Iconixbrand Group Inc.

We, Mollie and Jackie Singer, want to take this occasion to publicly thank you for your donation to JDRF, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and for helping raise Diabetes Awareness through Mudd’s National Advertising Campaign, “Mudd Girls Move the World.” You have given us the opportunity to make America aware of the urgent need to cure diabetes and your generosity is deeply appreciated. We are proud to be associated with Mudd and its parent company Iconixbrand, and further our mutual goal of inspiring teens everywhere to Make a Difference in their community and make the world a better place! Thank you again for your help and a memorable experience!

Always praying for a cure,

Mollie and Jackie Singer

P.S. We invite our JDRF Family and everyone who agrees with us that Mudd and their inspirational campaign “Mudd Girls Move the World,” is worth supporting, to sign this letter, or drop Mudd a personal note letting them know you appreciate the positive example they set for all corporations.

Hi, my twin brother and I agree with Mollie and Jackie that Mudd is doing is a really cool thing. We are 17 and we think all teenagers need companies to promote better role models. There is more to life then just looking good, but if you look good and are a nice person who cares about other kids, now that is someone to look up to.
Thanks Mudd, Mollie and Jackie

Hi everybody, I’m Lilly and I am nine years old. I love Mudd Clothes and I think that Mollie and Jackie are really pretty and they make me want to help other people also. My little brother has diabetes and it’s really hard for him, so I’m happy you are helping Mollie and Jackie and kids with diabetes. :)

Thank you for all your help.
Love Lilly

Dear Mudd and Iconixbrand Group Inc.

Mollie and Jackie Singer are very good singers. We invited them to sing at one of our UNLV Rebels Hockey Games. I will have to say that they were the best duet singers we have had, to perform the National Anthem. However, we were a little concerned when Mollie’s blood glucose got a little low right before the performance. My son Aaron Baca, who is the founder of the hockey team, made sure he was right next to Mollie just in case anything happened. Everything was fine and the performance went on perfectly as scheduled.

We recently heard that Mollie and Jackie were involved with the “Mudd Girls Move the World” advertising campaign. We want to personally thank Mudd and Iconix Brand for their generous donation and media exposure and for supporting Mollie, Jackie and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This has been an awesome opportunity for them to help let others know about what they and many others with diabetes face each and every day.

I couldn’t think of a better pair to represent you. Keep singing girls!!!

Dear Mudd:

I know Mollie and Jackie Singer very well, and I must say that you could not have picked two greater people to represent you. You have given them a chance to raise awareness about juvenille diabetes, and I think that is amazing. Thank you so much for giving them a voice, and giving them a chance to encourage other people to get involved! You guys rock!!!

Dear Mudd,

As a parent I am thrilled to see Mudd promote real role-models for young girls to look up to, it is a pleasant change from the dysfunctional stereotype starlets currently being promoted as role model. I also find it hopeful that your corporation is making a donation to such a worthwhile cause, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and look forward to buying merchandise made by Mudd!

Thank you for the wonderful example you are setting, if I could recommend you for a responsible citizen award…I would!
