Rock the Walk Benefit Concert!
Update from October 19th…Apparently, I never published this one! :] It was saved under drafts and I never submitted it.In this post, I’ll talk about The Rock the Walk, a benefit concert for JDRF’s Walk to Cure Diabetes.Jackie and I had a sound check at around 2:30 at the Springs Reserve here in Las Vegas. However, when we arrived, I noticed I wasn’t really talking to anyone and starting to stare into space. I was low. More like the 47 kind of low. This is just great, just before a sound check, why does it have to be now?……bring on the orange juice! All I can say is sitting under the soundman’s tent for a while was nice to get out of the heat, and bring my blood sugar up. The sound check was great, half the band was still setting up behind us, and it felt surreal. After the sound check, we put our stuff in the bus that we were allowed to use, it was so cool. :) About an hour later, we came back with our mom and aunt, and got changed for the show.
