Good Times

So last night, my sister and i met our friends Ashley and Robert at a restaurant we all pretty much love.It was a great night, just talking, hanging out, and of course, laughing a lot! haha
My blood sugars were really good too, I finally figured out how to bolus for that dinner (something i’ve been trying to get right for some time now)

and Jackie and I both went to the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and ordered teas.

After testing my blood sugar before i drove, I told Jackie my number, 247, and she was happy i could drive us home.

We listened to the new Toby Keith CD on our way, and it was cool.

About Mollie and Jackie

Hi everyone! We are Mollie and Jackie, and we live in Nevada, we are also twin sisters. I, Mollie, am a Juvenile Diabetic, and Jackie, is not. I've been on the insulin pump for 8 years and recently started using the Continuous Glucose Monitor. We are both freshmen transfer students with enough credits to be Juniors, currently attending The Honors College at UNLV. We both love music, smiling, and seeing the best in every person and situation. Even though one of us has diabetes, we live life to the fullest and work as a team to resolve each of our problems. For the last 15 years, Jackie has been by my side helping me; she IS my guardian angel. This blog talks about our lives and our experiences with and without diabetes and we talk about how Jackie helps me deal with my diabetes, physically, spiritually, emotionally. Hopefully, our honest approach to our experiences and the way we deal with situations will be helpful to other diabetics, their families, and peers.
